Basically a t-bone collision involves two cars as you already know. Here is a scenario to help you get the point.

You have two cars. Car #1 and Car #2. Car #1 is at a stop sign and doesn't see Car #2. So Car#1 pulls off. Without knowing Car #1 hits Car #2 in the intersection. But here is the key. When Car #1 hits Car #2 he hits the car in the side. Basically the first car waiting at the stop sign hits the 2nd car in the intersection in its side forming the "T-Bone" figure.

Here is a link to an image that shows an actual "T-bone" accident and the damage. I hope I explained it well enough.

A t-bone crash is when you are driving forward, and you hit someone in the middle that is around the frame or around the passenger or drivers door, or the passenger doors at the back, but it is when you hit the middle of the car.

when a car hits another car in the side- lookes like a tbone---often death is a result of t bone collisions because of the skull getting snapped hardly to the side breaking the neck causing instant death

a T bone is like the letter T. One car is going _, and the other is | Picture looking at a car's side, seeing the doors, and front fender and rear quarter panel, now picture another car's hood being smashed into those doors. That's a T bone collision.

A t-bone collision is when one car is like this sqwiggly ~, and another car is like an l so it looks like this ~

but hitting each other.
another way to show a t-bone collision is to think of a T, where it got it's name.

Side collisions are vehicle crashes where the side of one or more vehicles is impacted. These crashes often occur at intersections.
