i looked up the fines and penatly online...can any1 tell me if they have had this kind of ticket before and what happened to their case? thank you
(A) A fine of not less than $500 and not more than $1,000;
(B) Thirty-day prompt suspension of license and privilege to operate a vehicle during the suspension period, or the court may impose, in lieu of the thirty-day prompt suspension of license, a minimum fifteen-day prompt suspension of license with absolute prohibition from operating a vehicle and, for the remainder of the thirty-day period, a restriction on the license that allows the person to drive for limited work?related purposes;
(C) Attendance in a course of instruction in driver retraining;
(D) A surcharge of $25 to be deposited into the neurotrauma special fund;
(E) An assessment for driver education pursuant to section 286G-3; and
(F) Either one of the following:
(i) Thirty-six hours of community service work; or
(ii) Not less than forty-eight hours and not more than five days of imprisonment;

These charges or consequences you have listed only happen in extreme cases and to repeat offenders. If this was your first time getting a speeding ticket of that excess in speed, then you will likely be fined heavily. You were going 25+ above the speed limit. So the fine will be increased because of that. Also you can expect your insurance to increase as well. Anytime you are ticketed or in an accident, insurance rates increase. I was pulled over for speeding back in September. I was only going 13 above the speed limit and was ticketed for $90. But what I noticed was that there are various prices for higher speed violations. The higher the speed limit the more you will pay. So if this isn't your first time and you were speeding in excess like this before, you can look forward to points on your license, possible license suspension, increase in fines and insurance, and a likelihood of going back to driver's education. |

First: how in the hell did you get a ticket in Hawaii?!?!
2nd: You will be charged a maximum of 350 if not less, probably less, If it's your second time more then 4 bills.
3rd: The fine isn't your worry, it's what your insurance will do to you in the future.
4th: If neither of the ones on top occur, grow a beard and make friends with the Hispanics because your going to Mexico!
