My first list is All Wheel Drive cars.
Cars:
Subaru Liberty: mid 30's to low 50's in price here in OX
Audi A6 Quattro: Expensive at $100 K plus onroad.
Hyundai Tuscon: Low 40's on road, a cross-over vehicle.
Toyota Kluger: Low's 40's and up on road
Ford Territory: $40K or a bit more on road for AWD base model. Thirsty but there is a diesel model coming and it can get put on direct njection gas (no loss of power or economy) fro around $2500 after the government rebate.
Volkswagen Passat 4Motion available in wagon and sedan, Petrol V6 from around $55K
For actual four-wheel drives, there is:
Land Rover Doscovery 3: realistically 70K plus onorad to start. Petrols are thirsty. Go diesel.
Toyots Prado and Mitsubishi Pajero and Mitsubihsi Challenger. Much of a muchness but start litle short of 55K in basic trim.
Toyota Landcruiser: little change out of 80K on road with a couple of options and very expensive to run, even the diesels. |
