I have seen some Black Young Men, do that. I believe they think it is cool. But, it is not is unsafe, and I personally wish that my Young Black Brothers, would not do that. Have a great weekend. |

Goes back to the low & slow days in the 50s when most young hispanics in SoCal had the seat laid back, head tilted back, looking down their nose, under the steering wheel, over the dash. Very narrow line of sight. Cool then I guess, still must be now. |

Because the brother is in a bad place when he comes to cars; He's image conscious and he's tall.
When you tall you can't be image concious about cars bc they don't make many cool cars that you can fit your tall body into.The brother made the decision that image was important so his seat is reclined.I as an uncool 6'2" 250 lb white guy decided to just deal with it and drive uncool cars. I would love a new Mustang GT -but i can't fit into one so I drive a Town Car. |

A lot of it is a culture thing, a G THANG. It's jus sumthin some younger people do......and it's not jus black drivers, white drivers do it also. My boyfriend has his seat all the way back, and lays back in it most of the time. Sometimes he sits up straight though to see something he ran over or to adjust something in the car or other reasons like that. It all just depends. And i hope you were not being racist with this querstion but i see some answers were very racist and i hope you have enough sence to disregard their answers to your querstion. |
