I want to learn car driving in Bang.How much time do I need to spend in the driv school to drive on my own?

The driving school told me that in 9 days(1 hour daily) i'll be able drive on my own.I had learnt driving but that was 2-3 years ago and that too in fits and start(my dad taught me,and u know how dads teaches car,getting too over cautious,even banged the car once).
Will 9 hours be sufficient.I am planning to book my car so that i get the delivery 2-3 days after finishing my driving lessons.
Or do I need to spend more time behind the wheel in driving school.Guys please give a candid reply cause I don't want to end up banging my new car.

minimum time is 8 hrs with 1/2 hr per day basis.
they will only teach the basics,rest u learn by urself after u start driving ur car

You can make it in 3 weeks to handle it comfortably of your own.

First, you should not be using the word BANG and learning to drive in the same sentence.
Simple answer to your question is a question, would you rather crash your own brand new car or the driving school's car?
So don't hurry take your time with the school's car, and then for good measure borrow your dads car for a few days to practise solo driving.

go for a cheap second hand car and perfom your practicals .
when you feel you are perfect then buy a new car . i feel 9 days will not be sufficient for you to drive on your own.

In my country it is next to unthinkable to be able to pass the exam with 9 hours of driving lessons.
In other countries you pass your test if you can drive for twenty minutes without hitting more than two people, so the answer depends a great deal on where you are.

hi... if you are using your own car to learn how to drive, good. one car less to get familiar with. that said, the length of time till you can drive on your own will depend on you.. how fast you can have confidence on yourself. and how fast you fight the fear of driving. ... maybe this can help you learn faster.... pretend you are at a mall with alot of people traffic and walking(driving) around not to hit or be hit by other people(cars)... to achieve this, you are using human radar 360deg around you to maneuver around. oh... and be courteous...
