no its not your fault,,anytime someone hits you in the rear,,it is there fault,,this is true in any state you go to,,the law states that you must be in control of your vehicle ,,at all times,,and this the same anywhere,,it don't matter where it is,,no matter what someone tells you,,your not at fault,,some times people like to try and bluff you,,don't let it happen in this case,make sure they fix or replace your car,,good luck with this,,i hope this help,s. |

No, when a person rear ends you, they should have been at a safe distance behind you. Not your fault |

No, they should be cited for not having an assured clear distance ahead. They were too close and if they were not so close and if they were paying attention, your wouldn't have been hit. Call your insurance company, fill out a police report and call their insurance company. |

Nope! When you rear-end someone, you're at fault. Since you got rear-ended, the other driver is at fault. Especially at a stop sign!! |

Doesn't sound like it. The car behind you has an obligation NOT to run over you on the road. Don't be misled, there are situations where a rear ender is NOT automatically the #2 vehicle's fault. |

You are never at fault if a car hits you from the back.
If you are stopped at a light or stop sign, and a car hits you, which pushes you into the car in front of you, you are still not at fault...it is the person who hit you. |
