You will likely have a large fine along with a license suspension, high insurance rates with the possibility of being forced to retake drivers ed. If this is your first time then you will have a large fine. But repeat offenders usually have their license suspended if enough points are against their license. Don't be surprised when you see how much it is. It does vary to state, but since you were going that fast expect a heavy fine. |

If you are under 18 & your state has a Graduated Driver License for teens, loss of your license until age 18 or 21.
A HUGE fine & a reckless driving charge on your driving record. (This will stay on your driving record for a few years too)
Car insurance premiums will go up. You could also be dropped by current insurance company if they do not offer high risk insurance & then you will need to shop around to try to get insurance coverage again. (If you drive with no insurance & get stopped again, your problems will become very severe, including possible jail time- very possible jail time)
Possible court ordered driving classes.
And you will be looking at probably 6 points on your license for reckless driving. |
