Find answers to your legal question.

If I am joining a 3 lane roundabout from a 2 lane road, which lane should I be in to turn right?

Have a look at this airial photograph of an example situation.
In this case I need to be in the middle lane.

At a roundabout you should always turn right from the right hand lane regardless of the number of lanes / exits etc. UNLESS there are road markings that tell you differently.

See rule 186 below;

Your link is incomplete, but it is simple. If you want to turn right, get in the right hand lane, every time, unless lane markings direct otherwise.

right....but the amount of people who dont know is terrible...causing too many accidents or close calls....

you have answered your own question.!!

The Tank
The right hand lane, unless there is a very good safety reason for being in the left.

Derrrrrrrr..............Common sense kicks in here! Could it be right lane!!!

Either the right or middle lane (on some roundabouts, either is good).

Follow the signs on the road and indicate if you are in the wrong lane.

I feel for you, driving is confusing sometimes, however experienced you are.

You should be in the right hand lane. Then filter into the out side lane as you approach the exit you need.

By the way you link don't work.

Alanrt1
The right lane!!!!!!!!! Why would you turn from the middle lane?

Pat R
The right hand lane.
