There are charts you can use to figure this out. Using your weight and how many drinks you have had it can tell you your blood alcohol level and then you can figure out how long it will be until you are sober. If you are at .02 and weigh 100-125 LBS for instance it will probably only take 5-8 hours before all alcohol is out of your body. However a heavier person say 200-225 LBS it may take 18-24 hours because their metabolism has slowed and their bloodstream has to work harder to get it out of their system. At .05 which is when you are "buzzed" it may take as much as 48 hours for a lighter person to lose complications from drinking so much or even 72 hours for a heavier person. At .08 the legal limit it could be triple this time and after that you have poisoned yourself with the alcohol. This may result in slipping into a coma or accidental death. Hope this helps. If you still feel drunk or hung over the next day, you could still be drunk. It is possible, dont risk it for yourself or the person you could hit!

It takes at least 12 hours for the alcohol to leave your body completely but at the same time it depends on how much you drank..

Leged, what are you talking about, .08 is the legal limit, and anything over that is coma? So its ok to driver in a near comatose condition? .40 is coma and you need to consume like 20 shots withing an hour to get there.

And to answer the question. It depends on how much you drink and over what period of time. if you had 6 beers, you will be ok. but if you had 20 shots between the hours of 9pm to 11 pm you will not be ok at 7:30.
