This situation would freak me out because I'm a new driver. I wouldn't have the gut to just stop and look in it in the middle of the road, and I wouldn't just drive over it (if it looked full), I would probably slow down and drive around it. Oh, and by the time the cops got there, someone else would've probably moved it, so what's the use? BYE=) |

The police have more important things to do than pick up your lunch bag. Next time, try operating a trash can.
If the bag isn't' blowing around, it means something is most likely in it. Straddle it or go around it, no reason to risk a flat or killing a cat for some dirtbag.
If it isn't your bag, what is inside is not yours either and doesn't concern you. Besides, many times stopping for something like that can needlessly endanger yourself and others. I can hear you telling St. Peter at the Pearly Gates "I stopped in traffic to see what was in a paper bag and got run over by a blonde on the phone". |

I'd just drive right by.
I live in the city now..if I lived in West Virginia I would probably move it out of the road, but only if I was walking..
I'd definitely not hit it or step on it without knowing it's contents..it could be an alien head, the cure for cancer, a bottle waiting to break, or a steamy load.
For that reason I'd avoid going into the bag, since only 25% of my options listed are good..the rest are terrible.
Plus, I wouldn't recognize the cure for cancer if I saw it. I'd just think "What in tarnation is that doing in a bag in the middle of the road...these new city kids I tell ya!" |

Drive around! I have places to be man! jk!, I think it's a good idea to check it out, but stopping and checking something out on a road is kinda unsafe, if there's something bad in it then it would be reported |
