If you go to court, which I think you do it's going to depend on the judge, how many other tickets you have, and a couple of other things. I would plan on not driving for at least a year and paying at least five hundred dollars.

In NY it's like 20$ for every mile over the speed limit... and will also lose their licence until they are 25... This person will also probably get the Stupid tax put on top of that.. Why would a 16 year old be driving that fast in the first place?? Thats just down right stupid and I have no compassion for idiots.

They will lose their drivers license until they are 21 atleast, 500-1000 dollars and probably some jail and probation time

Hopefully it will be enough to make you think about doing it again. The loss of your license for 1 year will be worse than the fine

Don't know about Minnesota but in Texas he'll need a wheel barrow full of cash! Then buy him a good pair of shoes because this Dale Earnheart Junior needs to be walking. In the Republic of Texas I was tossed into jail for 145 in a 55. I did get to keep the wheel barrow though.

in florida when i got my speeding ticket it was cheaper to pay a lawyer he beat it and it was like it never happen my insurance never went up no points and no school lawyer was a 100 bucks
