No you cannot. If your child is not properly restrained, the police will issue you a ticket.
Would you rather have a child crying, or a child dead because you put her in harms way by not ensuring her safety? |

No! Child seats are made for a reason-- to protect your child! There is no way you could hang onto her in an accident, and your seatbelt and/or airbags could kill her. |

i dont recommend not using the carseat. It greatly reduces risk of serious injury in a crash. don't put her in the front either. middle rear is best. and you can get a ticket.. |

I'm having a hard time understanding you, but there are two things you should know. Laws vary from place to place, but where I live, Maryland, U.S.A., any child below the age of six or below forty pounds must be in a car seat in the back. It is also illegal to leave a child unattended in a car. |

hell no...you could go to jail for not child negligence and get a ticket |

A child should be in a car seat 100% of the time a vehicle is moving. My son used to get upset in his seat, I'd pull over and nurse him and put him back in his seat. Pull over and calm your child and then put her back in her seat befor eyou go. |

regardless whether your child is sick or not they have to be in a car seat. not just because it is the law but because that is the only way they will be safe. If your child is crying have someone sit in the back with her to try and comfort her.
you will get a ticket if stopped by the police. a ticket should be the least of your worries, the safety of your children should always come first.
FYI....all children under 12 should sit in the back seat if there is a passenger side air bag. It the air bag deploys and a child is in the front passenger seat they could be seriously injured and it could be fatal |

Whether the child is sick or not, it must be restrained in the car seat, otherwise you will be ticketed. How would you feel if you got into a wreck on the way to the doctor, and your child was seriously injured? Buckle up! |

No, and you wouldn't want to. The force of impact in a crash will pull the child right from your arms and send the little one through a window. You must keep the child in the car seat and properly restrained while the car is moving. If your baby is sick enough to require your immediate attention pull over at a gas station or rest area. The police will not be very sympathetic, They have seen too many wrecks where little children were killed by not being properly buckled in. |

I am not sure just what you are asking....is it
if your are not driving the car but riding with someone else? and your child cries, can you take her out of the child safety seat to comfort her?...if that is what your asking then NOYOU CANNOT TAKE THE CHILD OUT OF THE SAFETY SEAT TO COMFORT HER WITH OUT GETTING A TICKET....
If you want to be able to attend to your child then you need to sit in the back seat with them to help care for them or pull over the the side of the road and attend to them.
there is a reason for safety seats in cars and it's the law that they be buckled up. |

Please leave your child in their restraint seat until they are old enough to be taken out. You would rather have an ill child as no child at all. |

What?..........Let's see if I understand. If you're riding in a car and your child starts crying, can you take the child out of the car seat and hold it in your arms and comfort it.....legally? No. You must keep the child in the car seat. |

She has to be in a child seat. Facing backwards too. Otherwise her skull could slide off her spine on the inside of her neck during a car crash. It's called internal decapitation |

If you take her out of the child seat, you will get ticketed.
Try to sit with her in the back seat - if you are not the driver. That way you can comfort her. In most states, you won't have to have a seatbelt on in the backseat and you can scoot over to face her. It may soothe her.
Good luck! :) |

She is suppose to be strapped into her car seat any time the car is in motion. Period. End of Sentence. It's the LAW, and it's for her safety. An accident can occur at ANY time. It doesn't matter if she is feeling well or not. Yes, you can get a ticket, but her WELFARE should be your main concern, not just "is big brother watching". |
