If i put a camera on a R/C nitro airplane will it effect the signal of the airplane?

don't just say no or yes because if i fly this thing and lost signal or got signal scrambled its going to fall.
the camera is 6cm long and 2.4mhz (what ever that means)

Nope, not at all. Your camera is on a completely different frequency band. The radio system in your plane uses either 27 or 72 MHz frequency unless you have one of those 2.4 GHz systems like Spektrum.
Even if your camera was 2.4 GHz it still wouldn't cause a problem w/ a Spektrum system because the Spektrum radio will adjust its frequency to avoid the camera.
If you want to be sure in either case check it out yourself by doing a ground test at the flying field. Turn on the radio in your plane and your camera then operate the controls. Then move a long distance away and try it again. If everything is kosher you're good to go.
