I suspect it depends on the offence and how culpable you are as the qualified driver.
If they are driving and you (as the qualfied driver) are drunk! Then sure you'd lose your licence for such an offence.
If you are 'teaching' them to drive and the learner does something silly which is construed as dangerous or evident of undue care and attention it may be that they could be punished and you would not if it can be shown that you did all that you could as the qualified driver to safely control the situation.
If they get done for parking illegally, or get caught for speeding on a camera -- then if the car is in their name they would probably get the points and it may never be clear that you were with them, I suspect. |

No, the driver is responsible for what the car does, not you. The reason you have to be there by law is to take over the controls in an emergency. |

No. The driver is the offender. Though you can be done for being "drunk in charge", and also if it's your car and not insured they will be done for driving without insurance and you will be done for permitting.
You might, however, want to review your "supervising" skills. |

no, the driver gets the points, but its your job as instructor to point out to them they are doing something wrong and help them correct the error before they get to the stage of being issued points. |
