U R Driving Me Nucking Futs!
Patience. Many drivers are *******, so execute your lane change well in advance before you need to get off the highway or what not and don't do it at the "last minute." No handbook will help you deal with ****** drivers.

I have been driving for yrs, There are a lot of a--- h... out on the road, they do it too me at times, but it is a joke to them and unsafe. Just give your self plenty of room if possible and then use your signals and check your mirror and just go with the flow, after a while you will be good at it. don't worry, a book will give you the laws but u still have to deal with the nit wits, good luck

thats what they do.. they rather speed up then let you over.. i can't drive very well either and i have been driving for a while. just take your time no one wants to hit you just put on your blinker check your mirrors slow down or speed up if you have to and slight angle the wheel to where your going its take time to get the hang of it

just because you want to move over does not mean others have to help you. You just need more experience on timing your move, sometimes you just have to go past your turn then come back.<

Just be patience you will get the hang of it. You just need more practice. Once you realize you have enough room to get over you need to give you signal and immediately get over. Don't give the other driver the opportunity to speed up. It took me a while to get used to that because I learned to drive in a small town where their was not a lot of traffic. When I moved to a larger city I quickly learned that if I wanted over I needed to give my signal and immediately get over or I wasn't getting over.

It's illegal for them to speed up when they see you turn on your blinker. With experience you'll get more comfortable just cutting them off.

Check your blind spot in the lane
you’re moving into by turning your
head and looking in the sideview
mirror. In most lane-changing
crashes, the driver didn’t check
both ways.
• When turning around to check the
blind spot, do it quickly, so that you
can look ahead again to see if you can
still make the move.
• Check for other cars signaling to move
into the same spot you want.
• Avoid unnecessary lane changes. Some
drivers pass constantly, weaving in and
out of traffic, thinking they’ll “get there
faster.

1.) Check the inside and outside
rearview mirrors.
2.) Glance over your shoulder to check
the blind spot.
3.) Signal the direction you’ll be moving.
4.) When clear, steer toward the other lane.
5.) Accelerate or slow down as needed to
enter the other lane.
6.) When reaching the other lane, steer
to go straight.
7.) Be sure your turn signal is off.
8.) Adjust speed to traffic flow in the new lane.
