Im really nervous about driving.... help please!!!?

It's just a case of "fear of the unknown". We humans suffer from this condition quite a bit.
We become apprensive about anything new. We try to speculate how things will be.
If you let things take a natural course, take a few lessons from a professional driving instructor, they will put you at ease in no time. Keep an open mind and let the knowledge soak in.
Be stubborn about all good things!
Learning a new skill is the beginning of an long term of acquiring more experience. It takes time!
Be patient with yourself and enjoy learning how to drive a car.
First you have to begin!

Relax. Timid drivers are a danger to other people and themselves. Find someone with years of experience and let them ride with you. Someone who isn't high-strung. You just need to build your confidence in your abilities.

i felt that way to when i first started driving butjust drive with some one who wont freak out when u mess up start off by going around a culvisac slowly then move up to a neibor hood then the first time i drove on a actual road i freaked out but just relax and try to feel like u are the car and allways be aware of every thing around u and the biggest test is to go on the free way once u do that u look back and laugh how u were scared to drive.

I learned to drive on the free way, you should to. remember floor it every time you want to get on the entreance ramp.

Start by taking a deep breath & relaxing. If you are just learning how to drive, have your folks take you to a big empty parking lot to practice forward, reverse, turns, & other manuevers before getting on the road. If you have been driving for a while & had an accident or worry about the incident in MN, try to get back behind the wheel & do your best to practice defensive driving. Good luck!!
