Unless the vertical arrows represent an island, barrier, or a set of DOUBLE, double yellow lines, the green route is perfectly legal. |

blue would be the better way since you dont have to cut across a lane but either way looks like it would work id say blue |

The green line would be shorter, but there is a left turn to contend with. The blue line is longer with right turns. Depending on traffic, the green would be first pick. Driver's choice. |
