In your state, what does your vision have to be to?
Find answers to your legal question.

In your state, what does your vision have to be to?

Where you live, what does your vision have to be to get your driver's learner's permit/license? 20/30? Thanks

Friendly Stranger..
In my state which is Maryland, the visual requirements for a driver's learner's permit/license is a vision of at least 20/40 in each eye. You must also have a continuous field of vision of at least 140 degrees.

You cannot qualify for a Maryland driver's license if:

You cannot achieve visual acuity levels of 20/100 or better using either one or both eyes (without telescopic lens)
You cannot achieve at least 110 degrees continuous field of vision.

This is just how it is in my state. But it is different in other states due to various laws.
