Infant car seat for Porsche?

I have a Porsche 924S that I use as a commuter car. I need to find an infant car seat that will fit in the back and won't empty my bank account. Does anyone know of any regular car seats that will fit?

You'll be able to fit one - just don't plan on anyone occupying the front passenger seat while its installed. Once the child has good head control and can sit up/roll over, the seat can be adjusted to take up less space by putting it at only a 30-45 degree angle instead of the strict 45 degree angle required for newborns. A CPST at http://www.car-seat.org , her husband can fit a rear facing Britax Marathon in his Porsche 911. So it IS possible.

Sorry dude your going to need a new car. Even though you can look for one and put it in your front seat. 99% of cops will pull you over and give you a ticket for it. Been there done that. I have a 2002 porsche Carrera Gt2 and i had my kid in the front seat in a car seat. I got 6 tickets in the first year. They like backseats for them. But i still refuse to grow up, i still have the car. but if we go any where with him we take the suburban. still alot in gas but im not getting rid of my baby!(the car) XD! But the sacrafise you make for kids.

I am going to say that if this is your child then it may be time to let go of the porsche. selling the car would give you enough money to get a practical car that is more suited to having a child in. Porsche's are not designed for infant travel and are not designed for the most safety of the rear compartment. It is simply unwise and... down right dumb... to put an infant into a porsche.

there are still plenty of cars that you could use as a commuter car that still look good and have the recommended saftey features to carry babies around in.

In other words... it may be time to grab that box you got in the mail and open it up... take the responsibility out of it and start wearing it.
Grow up and get a better car.
