I just got pulled over last weekend and found out that my drivers license is suspended due to an accident 1.5 years ago. I was never informed that my license was suspended. I paid the full restitution for the accident, and was told there were no issues... all was taken care of. Since then, I've gotten a learners permit for my son to drive... using my license at the DMV. I've had my insurance renewed several times... never did the suspension come up until I got pulled over. My question is: Should my insurance company reimburse the past two years of payments for insuring me when I wasn't insurable?
