Hate to disagree with some others here but LPG is quite safe if it's fitted correctly and maintained correctly with all the safety equipment and cutout sensors in good order. I know that in Australia people have been running 'dual fuel' cars for at least two decades and the safety record is very good. You do use more fuel per mile but on the other hand it should be a lot cheaper and it works out quite cost effective. Power loss is minimal if it's set up right, and so it's ideal for running around when you don't need to run flat to the floor. However, you will have to make sure the motor is in top condition and the head has good quality, hardened valves, seats and guides. It's not so cheap and easy to set up for LPG as some people think... |

It is safe . I think LOVOTO conversion kit is good. I am using it.
Power of the car will decrease. If u are getting 18kmpl now u will get
15kmpl on gas. |

It is safe, and if your driving on the highway you wont notice any loss in power. You may need to switch back to petrol when going up a steep hill or when the car is fully loaded with a bunch of fat Americans. |

The conversion kits, properly installed, are very safe. Investigate the price of propane and I think you will find that it has nearly become as expensive as gasoline. |

Yes, we have tried it for 18 months and they are very safe and you can also look at this site, where it is described why they are safe ! |

Yes it is safe but be care full if U R on a busy road and IF U met with an accident and if U R car gets in fire the total place to maximum extent the vehicles will be under fire that is the damage is more but it is fuel efficient. |

A diesel will indeed run on LPG. I have a diesel engine (cat) running a very large sawmill. Have to start on gas and switch over though. On car engines , the ones I've seen indeed sacrifice power for engine longevity. The devil of them is cold weather starts and filling up the ole tank. Not many LPG service stations around here. |

The LPG kits out now, are only to be used, mixed with regular petrol. A car engine, or even a diesel engine is not safe to run on straight LPG. Good luck. |
