No, I would avoid this model unless the price is very low and you know how to take care of your vehicles (for example proactive preventative maintenance). This truck has a mediocre at best safety rating as well. I have attached a link for you. I hope this helps!

I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty.
I LOVE it. I have not had one problem with it. And for being an SUV, the gas mileage isn't bad.

NO I know several people and they all had bad luck. I like the looks myself but they are mechanic prone along with not being very good on fuel for there small size.
