Is an 11 year old allowed to sit in the front set?

There's no law against it but if your car has air bags then your child could be injured in a crash. If an 11 year old has to sit in the front seat make sure they have both the lap AND shoulder straps on properly and put the seat back as far as possible.

most states its over 50 lbs and or 5yrs of age if not in a car seat they can sit anywhere

Children of any age and short adults should not sit in the front seat if there is an airbag there.

In most states it's age 12 AND over four feet ten inches.

the manuel should tell you what age you should be to be able to sit in the front seat.
