Just let it go. You are not going to change their driving habits by blowing your horn. And you could distract them or another driver and cause an accident.
It's not impolite; just stupid, illegal and a waste of time. |

you can try, but I doubt they will realize you are honking because of their laziness to signal. It bothers me alot too. I do honk in other situations though, I have to use the horn for something lol |

I would only do it if they were really close in front of me and even then I'd still hesitate. I don't like using my horn for anything, personally. Also, I see this a lot and have gotten very good at "anticipating" these kinds of manuvers. I look through my mirrors a lot when driving, primarily to look for drivers like these that "dip and dart" around in traffic and prepare for thier idiotic sudden moves without signaling. |

No. Honking for any reason other than to warn other cars of your car is illegal and dangerous (and annoying to everyone else) and causes accidents by distracting other drivers. |

You should honk. Why would you think you could not honk your own horn in your own car in the first place? I've honked at cops and gotten pulled over because they don't like it and had no reason to do anything but intimidate me. It's your horn and honk all you want.. Honk if you're happy, honk if your honry or honk when people need to wake up and realize they are inconsiderate. |

Don't blow the horn at them, but just realize that they are a lazy clueless moron and move on. This boggles my mind also, why people don't just move their hand one inch to flip a turn signal on. It's not exactly strenuous or anything. |

you should only use your horn when it is to prevent an accident....so it really depends on the driver....if they are a good distance away, let it be...but if they do it in a way that's too sudden that really can cause an accident, honk away!!!!! |

Where I'm from there still tends to be a lot of texting while driving. Although it's illegal, there are many who can break the habit (low enforcement is a reason). I find it less stressful to stop quite a distance behind and just drive around when the driver ahead either forgets (more like neglects) to signal or is still busy texting or dreaming. I've had times where I've been yelled at or given the finger to remind them the light is green or why are you turning with no turn signal. I find it less stressful to just pass them - safely of course - and let others do the honking. They offender just not care that they're the cause of traffic congestion. |
