Yes. the same rule applies to the crossing of any street, avenue or boulevard regardless of it's directionality. You can never count on the common sense of others to be doing the right thing at the right time in the proper situation. |

Yes, Yes, Yes. The main reason is that we have to develop this as habit and maintain it for good. And not just look once, but several times. And you always start crossing an a TURTLE SPEED then gradually increase the walking speed. Never, never run.
Even if I and many other stop just to let you cross. Don't run to show you are gratfull for I stopped. It only makes me feel petty, for I made someone running.

Of course! You never know if somebody is backing up or simply going the wrong way down the street. Intentionally or not, not everybody follows every traffic rule. |
