yeah. its easy.
its understandable to be nervous at first, and it does take a little getting used to, but its not so bad. confidence will come with experience.
good luck! :) |

Oh yes! I love driving! I've driven probably over 200,000 miles in the past 3 years, and it's definitely not my job! Just for fun!
Read the book thoroughly, know the rules!! It tells you what to do in any situation.

the vast majority of adults in this country can drive and a good proportion of the people in this country are complete idiots, so that should say something :)
I'm sure you are capable... it's just something that you need to do to get the hang of... so practice a lot, don't get too nervous (thats a big one) and you'll be comfortable doing it with time. Good luck! |

It is really scary at first. Once you have your permit, take along a responsible adult -- preferably not a parent, as they tend to get nervous. Use some available open space (if you live in a large city that might be a shopping-center parking lot at 6AM) to practice your moves. The idea is to gain confidence in what the car will do when you press down on each pedal. |

Take a few driving lessons. That way, you will have the correct information and be taught safe methods and habits. This knowledge will also give you more confidence. It takes the average person about 50 to 60 hours to learn to drive, so have patience and dont be too hard on yourself. Like learning anything, you will make mistakes. That's why you should take a few lessons. You'll be in a safe environment that way.
Driving gives you independence and mobility. It's fun! |

not if you are afraid. Get some more practice until you feel comfortible with driving. |

Oh yes. You need to develop confidence behind the wheel, and before you know it, it'll be second nature to you! |

it depends if you know how and if your driving shift or not. If you dont pass a test, or take any drivers ed. it will be hard for you...and illigal. but once you start, and get into the feel of things, it gets better. |

Its so easy, now don't think you're going to crash everytime you're driving, that's the last thing that should be in your mind; but always drive safe. |

I am learning. Its not at all easy when you think you don't want to hurt anyone and your car! But its very challenging sitting behind the wheel and controlling this monster without doing any damage... its increasing my confidence everyday when I save everyone on the road. I am practicing every small aspect carefully including being normal while driving not panicking and not caring for others honking for a while; man I am learning like every other fool did some day when I used to call them moron..... its Fun that make my heart bit faster sometimes... You will be done when you do everything with your subconscious mind rather than conscious one...All The Best! |

it is nerve racking the first time. Just trust yourself and don't worry about not doing well. You will be just fine, next thing you know you will looking back and laughing about worrying so much. |
