no, it just takes practice. you need to know how to drive it before you just drive it. i mena its much larger than a car, but not hard, just different. |

No it is not hard. I drive one all the time. Turns are a little wider but common sense is still all it takes. Oh and a Class B CDL for mine since it weighs over 26000 pounds. |

It's not difficult if you're already a good driver. Some main points to focus on are the dimensions of the vehicle (height, width, length), and the weight of the vehicle. Use your mirrors often. Look further down the road than you are used to with a car. You have to make turns at an appropriate speed which is slower than with a car. Another thing is backing up, you must be sure of what is behind you, including your height and ground clearance. Having a spotter or backup camera is helpful and more safe. A good driver can adapt to driving different vehicles by becoming educated about the vehicle they are driving. Experience/time behind the wheel also helps. |

You need a class b cdl license because of the weight. And it's not hard just have to determine the turning Radius of the vehicle, Get someone who has drove one to go with you. Right hand turns are the worse. Practice, practice and then go and have a great time. |
