Is it legal for me to drive?

Where I live if you are 15 with a learner's permit you may only drive with a parent or legal guardian. If you are 16 and still have only a learner's permit you may drive with a licenced driver over the age of 25. Apparently ever state differs which is frustrating because it makes things confusing for the 15-18 year old age group (Some states have the graduated licence.. Some don't). When I was your age it was 15 - permit with parents, 16 - you're free to go! But I would suggest you ask a parent or call your local DMV because you don't want to get pulled over and lose your license before you can actually get it!

Only if the passenger is already a licensed driver.The learners permit says that in the fine print.Many states restrict newly licensed drivers from carrying under 21 year old passengers as they get easily distracted.Many states also limit 15 year old drivers to farms and rural areas.(fewer things to crash into.)Your drivers license booklet is your best info on that.Otherwise,it's legal.

if the 25 year old has a lisence,i dont know about insurance though verys from company to company

Each State has there laws. Checkout the information about your State on the website where you live.

Don't forget DMV of your State would be a good start.

yes definately with a parent that has a license, must be a licensed driver, passenger.. your parent usually as insurance prob won't cover anyone else, foster parent, grandparent, etc.. they can/will lose their insurance if you have an accident, etc......also if rider/parent is intoxicaded you both can be in BIG trouble, but.. then again there is the common sense law too.. in effect there, cuz if you and Dad are out driving, he gets drunk, who should drive???? Duh!!? so if you fought the insurance co, and PD Dept, you'd most likely win...

at 15 if u have a permit u can drive to and from work or to and from school by urself (in ks anyway but i dont see it being different where u live). U can drive with a person over 18, so yeah.
