Is it legal to set up trap in your car, and when car detect its not the owner in the car weapons (poison gas or mechanical knife) will activate and kill the car thief.
Its totally mechanically possible to build a device like that, I am just wondering the legal issue for this.

and please give me a reason why is it illegal to harm the thief, the mechanical device will be totally automated to protect itself from unwanted intruders. So when you see a thief stealing your car, are you suppose to just stand there and let him do it? I don't get it.

Sorry. You are not allowed execute a car thief without a trial. Using deadly force to protect your property has never held up in court as being legal. You are only allowed to use deadly force when you life is being threatened. Even then you might end up before a jury. |

I am sure that is not legal .You need to find a better way like hide a kill Switch under the dash or somewhere else

In most places it is illegal. However, if you live in Texas, there was a law passed that says you can use deadly force to protect your personal property. |

Play it safe and Lo-Jack the thing. If it gets ripped off, it can be tracked by satellite to within 30 yards of where it is.
Thanks to people like the ACLU thieves and crooks have more legal rights than the rest of us.
Of course, if you catch him and he just happens to fall down 20 or 30 times before the cops get there..... |
