but everytime i read the paper or watch the news theres always an on interstate 80 (lackawanna twp., mercer county, pa). is the problem the road or is it the drivers fault? i live like no more than 10 minutes away from it.

I80 moves all the way across the country. Its one of the nations main arteries. I live in Sacramento, CA and there are always accidents or stalls here too. Its just a busy interstate and there will always be accidents both because its busy and because there are dumba$$ ignorant drivers |

There are roads in my area that are known to be "hot spots" for accidents. Usually there is some reason for this, having to do with how the road was constructed. |

i think its both...the road because maybe they need to put more stop lights to control the traffic better. And the driver because since they know its the problem area they should have been driving more carefully but they havent so that is what caused the accident. |

I don't know the answer to your question, (the roads here are bad, and so are the drivers) but I-80 is less than a mile from my house!! At night I listen to the trucks go by...I also reside in PA, a pleasure to meet you! |

Trucks speeding at the I-79 intersection also where US-19 crosses has always been a problem. Also PennDOT dosen't do a good job of mantaining the roads in PA. |

It leans in a wierd way through there. It will make your vehicle drift a bit if you are not paying attention. I have been through there 100s of times as I was an over the road truck driver. I too am from PA |
