Listen to every single person that said do not wear flip-flops, and at that while taking your driver's test. You are so going to be judged on that. I mean come on all it has to do is slip off your foot or get stuck under the pedal while you are driving(has happened to me before) don't wear sandals or flip-flops or any open toed shoe for that matter. Just stick to a closed toe shoe on this one. You will promote alot more safety for yourself, as well as the driving instructor, and everyone else on the road. |

It's a matter of presenting yourself, number one, and an issue of safety, too. They can get caught on pedals (it's happened to me more than once), and driving instructors know that. They won't count you off, necessarily, but it won't look good.
Just go with closed toed shoes. It'll show that you take the task seriously, in many ways. And that can affect how they grade you. |
