Is it possible to bribe a driving instructor?

Im a learner and was wondering if any body knows of any way of bribing a driving instructor to passing you on your test. Are there any driving instructors reading this that could help, im scared to take the test (but i am a safe driver so theres no worries of me driving like some idiot) and would definately pay money, im serious people! thanks

well if you do and it works i will keep off the same road as you

you could try but the driving examiner might be a better bet!

Rumplestiltskin.
why would you want bribe the instructor? its the examiner who passes you in the end.

mysticrelation
all the effort you giving to bribing the instructor (which wont work) You could be using that energy in learning a skill the you will need for the rest of your life and could save your life.

If your a good driver than PROVE IT !

LEARN HOW TO DRIVE and be proficient at it OR STAY OFF THE ROAD.

driving is a privaledge ,and you dont deserve it,if you r too scared to take the test then you will not be a good driver.save you bribe money and buy a tricycle

Those of an attractive female disposition have an advantage, especially if they promise the examiner a late-night 'debrief'...

It'd bloody work on me if I were a driving examiner, even if they hit a few pedestrians, mucked-up the 3-point turn, and drove into a canal.

It won't do you any good - the instructor just teaches you. Its the examiner that passes or fails you.

Yeah - and hopefully you'll walk right into a trap. The police moniter such things and have been cracking down on this for years. You can be prosecuted for attempting the bribe and an examiner gets a prison sentence if caught. Learn like the rest of us - if you're such a safe driver you'll have no problem in passing will you ?????

One trick which I know does occur is that women tell the examiner at the start of the exam that she is pregnant and suffering from morning sickness.

Its amazing how understanding the examiner becomes.

No point in bribing your driving instructor, you have to bribe the examiner, which is illegal and has a jail term attached aswel, was talking about it to an instructor friend of mine, someone tried it and was reported, examiners are serious people...

if youve got a number of friends they prob know someone whos a driving instructor ask them but its a random selection for who gets who, my thaughts are if your a safe and serious driver then be confident in yourself and do the test, (if you were to knock down somebody or god forgive a child would you be able to live with yourself. i know it costs a lot of money for driving lessons but there worth it in the end!

I assume you mean a driving examiner .There is only one way to find out and offer the examiner a bribe .He/she will either stop you in your tracks and report you or accept your bribe, but as what you are suggesting is highly illegal the examiner could not be sure if it was part of a sting operation it is unlikely s/he would accept the bribe as it would mean an instant dismissal ,a heavy fine and as likley as not a prison sentence.
Chances are you would also recieve a fine,a ban from driving and a possible custodial sentence.
About 25 mins before you take your test drink a cup of strong coffee.and when you take the test just put into practise everything you have learnt and remember the examiner is not trying to pick fault ,s/he just wants to see that you are competent enough to drive. If your instructor has put you in for your test ,then s/he must feel you have the necessary skills .
good luck from a driving instuctor

are there any roads to drive on inside a jail cos that's where your likely to end up if you try going down that road do your test like everybody else got to and stop being stupid

If you are a safe driver then you have no problems then do you. Anyway it has nothing to do with driving safe, it's whether you can actually drive.

Common Sense
I presume there is but I wouldn't advise trying it...

would you feel safe driving alone if you did, I know I wouldn't. You haven't properly passed your test so It just wouldn't be right, or fair on everyone else that had to put theirselves through tests and PASS fairly !!

It took me 5 goes, I was a nervous wreck, couldn't hold the clutch coz of my shaking legs, took test in a town I didn't know rather than waiting 5 months for a test in my home town, ended up on beta blockers buy hey, I passed fair and square and it felt GOOD !!

ach
Everyone has their price, for a driving examiner I would budget 1000-2000 pounds. Wait till after the test is complete but before he fills in the paperwork. If you failed on a technicality he'll be happy to pass you for the dosh. If you drove like an idiot then forget it. Make sure to take cash though.

Pat R
I hope your joking...theres a reason that we have driving tests, its so everyone is safe on the roads.

Every one is scared to take the test, should we all look for a bent test instructor to pass us.

I should think it is possible. But how could you even think of such a thing.
There are unscrupulous people out there, and they would take your money, but you wouldn't be fair to other road users.
Stick to taking the test properly and legally, you'll find you will get on OK.
So put this stupid idea out of your head.

A driving test examiner is a well paid cushy job with very little chance of being made redundant. If you could find one who would jeopardise his utopian job, I think you would have to offer him a bribe of political proportions to chance throwing it all away and get a jail sentence thrown in as well. I,m afraid you will have to do as we mortals do and live on planet earth.
