Is it safe to leave in-car "holders" in your car? I have an in-car holder for my Ipod and one for my navigation system. Is it safe to leave the holders in the car?

Depends on what your asking about.
If you mean is it safe on the battery to have it plugged in all the time then yes. Its perfectly fine to leave them plugged it. They can only draw power when the key is in so it won't be powered on while your parked.
If you mean is it safe to have the holder in the car and not worry about someone breaking in to steal it then that's different. In some cases yes that's okay. I leave me ipod holder out all the time, but my car is under security cameras. Ifs its a high theft area then maybe not. |

I have a navi system, and a sat radio as well as a digi tv pop out head unit in my ride. Noone has ever messed with the riggings as long as I remove the sat and navi systems from the car when I park, never had a prob. If you've got tinted windows, make sure the holder is placed out of sight for prying eyes through the windshield and you shouldn't have a prob. If you're that worried and have to ask "is it safe to?" then you should just take the extra two minutes to unplug it and take it out with you or lock it in your glove box or center console.
