I know I'm not supposed to drink and drive, and I'm also not supposed to text and drive, but what about drinking, texting, and driving all at the same time?
Drinking makes me less focused, but texting makes me more focused, so they pretty much cancel each other out. I mean, it's not like I'm drinking while I'm texting. I drink first and then send the text message.

Sure, I just drive with my knees so I can hold my beer and my phone and not have to put anything down. Just make sure you glance up like once every minute and a half or so. |

It depends on whether you have one of those full keyboard phones or not. If you are doing the classic one-thumb text, it's perfectly safe. If you're trying to hunt and peck 2 handed, or worse yet, type using homerow and all that jazz, you probably won't be able to drive very well. |
