inside a vehicle can get pretty hot on a summer day. is it safe to store a fire extinguisher in the cab of a truck? i see people do it all the time.

I've had one in my truck for years without any problems. All ambulances in the U.S. carry atleast one 10lb unit without issue

Absolutey safe. In fact its the law for any DOT inspected vehicle.

Yes. There is more of a danger of accidently breaking the pin and opening the valve in rough driven vehicles than an explosion from heat.

Yes. It's one of the best places for it. You would WANT it immediately accessible to the driver.

Trust me, the contents are probably already under a lot of pressure, the few degrees increased temperature in the cab of a vehicle is not going to make much difference.

Yes it is...........it is even part of a CVI commercial vehicle inspection......

yep t's safe. D.O.T. actually REQUIRES them to be kept in the truck's interior.
