It is not legal to drive with front fog lights on. Recently a relative was pulled over and given a warning for driving with them on. |

It depends upon where you drive and the laws that govern that area. Ultimately however it is a damned nuisance if not an outright hazard to drivers coming at you in the opposite direction. |

They are classed a auxiliary lights, and as such should only be used when needed. Front fog lights don't bother me, it's the drivers who go everywhere on main / high beam because they mistakenly believe that the lights next to the headlights ( usually single filament bulbs - H7) are fog lights instead of long range lights. Fog lights must (European market) be located below the headlights - usually in the bumpers - and be aligned so the beams are to the sides & not ahead. |

It is not legal anywhere and pretty stupid. The only thing about the looks is , it looks like a squid driving. |

No. Fog-lights should be switched off when visibility exceeds 100 metres. |

You can dirve with them on if you dont mind getting pulled over and fined every day |

No it's not legal. Fog lights are simply too bright to be used in non-foggy conditions and can cause problems for other road users. |

You can get a fine of up to £2000 for driving with your fog lamps on. |

Anyone does that to me and I will follow them to their parking spot and smash the lights out with a rock.
I only say that because I left mine on once and a kind gentleman offered to do it to mine. I think I upset him. |

depends where you are
most cars will turn them on automatically with your night lights, because they look damn good
and it shouldn't really bother other competent drivers
it doesn't annoy me |

My son was stopped by blue flashing headlights when he was driving with his frony fog lights on one night. They also breath tested him although he'd just left work. He also sat in the back of the police car and the seat was wet so what he sat in he doesn't know. He was fined £35. |

Don't understand some peoples comments, foglights don't dazzle you, they actually shine down and out, they don't do anthing to harm any1 in the daylight, so why are unot aloud to use them, there used as a turn on for u're car.... this law is thick as yell... |
