I was walking home from school (about 3/4 of a mile), when I got hit by a man driving a white truck turning left. I was already over half across the street on an unmarked crosswalk, and he says that he did see me at the other side of the road. However, he also said that he thought I was waiting for a school bus. When I stated I was in shock and only felt bruised, he offered me his phone number and name and insurance policy. When I decided to walk to the sidewalk to get out of the street, he drove away. I suffered only minor scrape and muscular ache in my neck and shoulders. Who is at fault?

The driver of the truck would be at fault and you need to report this with as much information that you can remember to the police department. |

Depends on State Law about where / what is considered a crosswalk. Here in Cinci, any any corner to corner is a crosswalk, cross in the middle of the street and it's "Jaywalking. So call the police |
