My stepmother seems to think that it is illegal to park a car close to a house. Is this true? The car is maybe 4 meters from the house. I dont believe her as she makes so much stories up but maybe someone knows?

Yeah i also mentioned about garages joined to the house and also under ground parking. I never heard of something so stupid to be honest and trust me i will let her know how much rubbish she spouts.

Oh, bless, there's no such thing! However, if you're in rented property there may be a condition about that in the agreement, aimed at preventing the more yobbish tenants from parking their cars on the lawn.

On someone else's property or public buildings there could be a certain distance. If it's your property though you could park where ever you like. Unless you are part of a H.O.A. then yes there could be a distance regulation.
