Is this a good idea for the stimulus package?

put people to work on construction of a separate highway just for 18 wheelers, because so many people have died in accidents involving 18 wheelers

I would propose that you change that to a separate highway for idiots, sociopaths and the mentally deficient. They are the ones that cause the majority of the accidents. 18 wheelers do not cause most of the accidents. They are, however, involved in plenty of accidents that they did not initiate due to the ignorance of other motorists.

Well it is true that many accidents have happened involving 18 wheelers, however what you need to understand is that money is involved when assigning construction workers to certain areas. The stimulus package is designed to relieve our economy and get money flowing again. However if construction companies do not have the money to hire construction crews to do work for separate highways for 18 wheelers then it would not be a practical idea. Jobs must be created and in order for jobs to be created money has to be available. If money isn't there for construction workers to be hired then nothing can be done. I believe the best way to do this is to first get the economy on track. Then this idea may be presented because it isn't a bad idea but in the long run it would be more costly.
