I live in alabama and I'm 14, i'll be 15 in december. So i'm going to be taking my learner's permit in december. I have a alabama drivers manual, and it says 15 year olds could get a learners license but, they can only drive with an licensed adult 21 or older.
My mom says that you, and the adult are the only ones who can be in the car. No one else.
But it doesn't say that in the book or the alabama dmv website.
is my mom right?

Correct. I believe the only exception is driver's ed and/or immediate family members may be in your car as well. Double check with the DMV or the driver's manual though. Read it carefully.
