Laser gun print out...?

I got pulled over yesterday and cop tells me that he used laser to record my speed. I have radar/laser detector Passport 8500 X50 which has a future to detect the signals. For some reason it didn't even pinch and I got a ticket ( 55 mile zone / 80 miles per hour).
I asked cop: is there a print out for laser gun?
Well my question is still: Is there a print out that a cop can provide as a proof of speeding record? Can he prove to me that I was going 80 miles per hour? In court if I even go against him, can he proof that I was going 80 miles per hour? I have a radar detector which (as far as I know never lies).
Please help me out with this info.

First of all... I thought I'd get some advice. Instead I got false responses to my questions.
It is only illegal in VA, and Washington DC. (and also on vehicles which exceed the limit of 10 thousand pounds) TRUCKS.
I did my research before I bought my radar detector. Now you do yours...

Your radar/laser detector is not illegal unless you live in VA or DC, which you correctly stated. However, laser is almost impossible to detect because it's beam is only a few nanometers wide and is usually aimed at the front license plate because it's the most reflective part of the vehicle. Radar can be detected miles away because it has a wide spillover and can be detected away from where it's being aimed. In order for your radar/laser detector to detect a cops laser gun, the laser must be aimed directly at the detector. Radar/laser detectors are useless against laser which is becoming more and more popular for this reason.
There is nothing you can do to fight the ticket. All the cop has to do in court is say that he clocked you at 80 with his laser gun and there is nothing you can do to prove this wrong.

Obviously you were speeding, or you would have been protesting in a different manner.
If the laser unit is an instant on, by the time your detector even wakes up to the fact there is a beam, your speed is detected and noted, and it doesn't matter if the thing beeps at you or not.
When it comes to you telling the court you have a radar detector, and the officer telling the court he timed you with a laser gun, you will find your detector cannot be used a defence, especially since you will be admitting you were speeding.

First, your radar detector, is illegal to use.

So, good luck mentioning that in court.

Secondly, all the officer does, is radar you, then call it in. Aka, "speeding vehicle, 80mph in 45, will pull over" or something to that effect.

So, the minute you're tagged, you're already in the records as getting pulled over, at that speed.

They don't need a print out. The officer is making a legal statement by declaring your speed to be that. It's a felony for him, to falsify such records.

So, you can ask for a print out all you want, but they don't have to give you a thing. And the more you ask for stuff, the more guilty it makes you look.

first off Vipassana is wrong in some states radar detectors are illegal. i live in pa and they are legal and as far as i know they are illegal in va and nj but not sure about anywhere else. if it were me i would get a new detector

No print outs but you can ask to see when was the last time that the radar unit was calibrated because many state require this to be done at least twice a year...

Radar detectors are junk.

You can file a motion of discovery at the court well in advance of your appearance date so you can gather evidence needed.

Keep in mind that the cop can ask you to provide evidence of his asking as well.
