Less Likely to have Road Rage?
Find answers to your legal question.

Less Likely to have Road Rage?

Do you think people are less likely to have road rage with someone in the same type car as them?
For example, if both people have a Camry, would they less likely get mad after being cut off or something along those lines?

I have actually never heard of that.. but aside from that.. I have always told my childre when they started to drive>> dont get mad at rude drivers to the point of a altercation.. because you never know what that person just went through.. could be many things .. like just finding out you have a devastating ilness. lost thier home,,job etc etc...so dont take it personally..and let it ruin your day.. think before you let it anger you..

At first I was going to say no but then I got to thinking about it, and I think maybe it might help, because all the times I get really mad (I don't rage, but people do upset me and I cuss to myself, lol) it's been at people in huge cars like Hummers or Giant trucks. I drive a tiny car and when I see one like it I admire the driver, plus I love my car and wouldn't want to damage one like it, I dunno, I think it might be slightly less likely .

I can't see why that would make a difference<

Anything is possible, but most that have road rage are already almost out of their logical minds and ready for a fight. Many are school yard bullies and this is the norm for them and they don't care about the other person or what kind of car they drive.

You question may be logical to the person who normally does not do a road rage and may settle them down. But to the die hard road rager, not a chance . . . they are mostly a-s-s-h-o-l-e-s!!

Not at all.................

There are several reasons why such road aggression is escalating.

One of the major factors is the ever-growing number of people driving on the road. In the United States today, 180 million automobile drivers share a road system that has not been built to handle this amount of traffic.

As a result, drivers increasingly deal with congestion and the frustrations that come with it.

The high traffic volume means that drivers must constantly adapt their own driving to the sometimes erratic driving styles of others.

Drivers must keep persistent look-out for random last minute lane changes, slow downs, and speed ups.

This type of vigilance can create extremely stressful driving conditions.

Other frustrations that accompany congestion include wasting time in traffic, defending against aggressive driving, and dealing with periodic hostile exchanges between drivers.
