When I'm drunk I see 4 or 5 lanes so I just pick the middle one.
Anyway, I have to drive when I'm drunk as I can usually barely walk. |

This happens in Ireland on some country roads. Slightly worse for wear friend of mine was worried about a queue of cars behind them whilst doing 20mph until they were told "It's ok they're following you". |

I sure hope you are kidding. But....just in case you're not.....have you ever heard of "taxi" ....have you ever heard of "designated driver".....have you ever in your life heard of "kill people when drunk and driving"?????????
Or, better yet, have you ever heard of: "dont drink if you are going to drive????"
Ok, you know, now that I have thought about this, you might be onto something... I think if they do this, some GOOD can result: If they did this for a couple of nights, soon, all the drunk drivers will kill themselves off. Then.... no more drunk drivers!!! |

thats not a bad idea, provided it is a concept not just in one area....for instance if i live in New York and they dont have that there, and am driving to Maryland and they DO have it there, If its late at night, wont see any sign markings, and will be unaware of the lane thing, so I could be risking my life unknowingly...its not a bad idea though |

It will never work in a million years. Who is going to spend money on a scheme like that . Utterly ridiculous. I have seen two people killed in two seperate accidents by drunken drivers. One was a 12 year old girl, and the other was a father of 3 children. If I was making the law, I would give these drivers life in prison because they have really committed murder. |

Sounds good in theory, but some are so drunk, they can't even stay in the drunk lanes and still end up wrapped round trees and peoples gardens etc. |

Drinking and driving is just plain wrong and very dangerous for the driver's life. Get alot of drunk drivers in a "designated" lane and you'll still have crashes and deaths. |

Weaklings drive drunk, nothing more. These people shouldn't have a license to begin with, let alone get behind the wheel if they cannot help but let a chemical rule their lives.
They're just a bunch of worthless addicts and should be shot so they don't burden society anymore, not given special lanes. |

i think its a good idea but it wont work. itr would cost too much and the druunk would swerve out of the lanes anyway. drunk people whouldnt drive at all. |
