Hi Guys, a colleague of mine is about to undergo a medical and very concerned about the liver tests as she had had Hep A twice (i am not sure this is possible at all, sounds a bit dodgy but thats what she is saying lol). To her defence, she is a lovely lady, I know her well enough (outside work), know her family, have worked with her for 5 years. She doesnt drink much, not had a drop for 5 months, but because of previous Hepatitis she is concerned whether she could pass a medical. Can they find out whether the liver is damaged due to previous illnesses or alcohol?

if they do liver LFTs (liver functions tests) then that will show any abnormalities. How the damage occured is not always identifiable. |
