7 Ways to Avoid a Traffic Accident

Intersection Errors. Improper Lane Changes. Before you change, check all mirrors, and signal long before you change. Also, watch for the other vehicles.

Don't drive faster than you can handle. Watch out for other drivers moves and drive defensively. Follow the rules of the road, but don't take the right of way for granted. Basically, if you see someone that's going to go when they shouldn't, let them go. Also, stay away from bad drivers if possible.

Also, when changing lanes, always check your blind spot and other lanes to make sure someone doesn't go in the lane you intend to. The correct order to change lanes is: check mirrors, signal, check blind spot and other traffic, then move.
