Mitsubishi i car airbag indicator stays on all the time?

Does Mitsubishi i car's airbag indicator (in the dial) stay lit up all the time? Or is it not lit up during normal use?

The Tank

This is definitely a fault. Your car's handbook will explain this.

You must get it looked at by a dealer as soon as possible because it means that the airbag may not work in a crash - or worse, it may go off while you are driving.
If you are very lucky it may just be a loose connector in the wiring loom but please don't take any chances.

In any car, the airbag warning light should come on when you first turn on the ignition (so that you can see if the bulb fails), then go out a few seconds later.
If it stays on, that indicates a fault, and you should take the car to a dealer for a proper investigation. An i car should still be under warranty.
