Motorbike accidents caused by horses?

If you can't see a pile or trail of horse shite in the road you should be travelling by bus - not driving a motorbike!

The same reason horse manure can cause a bike to lose traction applies to slick pavement and wet leaves. Not to mention motor oil and trasmisison fluids from vehicle leakage.

It is the RIDER'S resposibility to watch out for hazzards on the road.

I have to wonder what kind of rider would deliberately ride through a pile of wet horse manure on the road.

By the way, horse riders tend to ride on the road shoulders. Motorcycles shouldn't be traveling on that part of the road.

I think you will find its not that high although any responsible rider should clear the road if it is on a bend and out of sight to riders/drivers. I ride both motorcycles and horses and there is no reason for a horse to cause an accident or a motorcycle to cause an accident.

Please ignore the stupid comment made by athiest she represents a minority of riders who think they have a right to do as they please. She does nothing for the cause of riders.

No data on this because the way that the law reads for every state is that in owner of a horse "MUST" pick this up and not leave this on any road.

The horses came first the motorbike cam much later. I wonder how many horses get killed by motorbikes being driven irresponsible ? Live very near the New Forest and we see many animals killed by vehicles driving driven to fast and the driver not paying attention. More horses get killed by motorbikes than motorcyclist. Fact. I am a biker.

You should be more worried about how many people are hurt or killed by motorbikes driving around people on horses.

Feces is of little matter. If you can't drive around it, you're an idiot, but driving those things around a horse and rider is absolute suicide. I have been severely injured because an idiot decided it'd be funny to see my horse take off when he reved his engine.

And know, you can go to prison for it -- Public endangerment.
