My boyfriend just got into an accident 50 miles from me?

His car is flipped over. He came down to see me because I don't have a car. His parents will be so angry because they don't want us together. We are both 23. He does not have money to pay for the damages.
What should I do?

I live in Nashville Tennessee and he lives in Atlanta Georgia.

I think you should find out that he is mentally, emotionally, physically ok.
Then I think you should go with him to his parents house, or have somebody drive you there and talk to them.
Tell them that you care very much about his safety and what happens to him and that you would like to know how to get them to accept you two being together. If they do not accept you, than say "in light of your sons serious accident, I would think that his life and happiness would mean something to you, I make him happy." Then no matter what they say, dont lose your cool and say thank you for speaking to me, or thank you for your time and GO.
Let your bf know that you care.
BTW Your bf is going to HAVE to get some money, get a second, third job if he has to in order to pay for the damages. That's life. So be understanding and don't expect he can drive 50 miles to see you as much. |

You should do nothing.If he cant drive and has no money that's his problem. But you could take his parents advice and start looking for a new boyfriend. |

seems awfully immature question for 23 year olds. If he has car insurance (full coverage) it will be fixed, if he doesn't have any insurance, then he should not be driving, and since he can pay for gas driving such a long way then he should have full coverage anyway so no worries, right. |

Okay so what I did when this happened to my friend is easy. We went to an old persons house that never drives and took her car. She obviously had insurance and they gave her a new one. I used paint remover and took off the paint then took it into a place and got a new paint job. Only cost a few hundred bucks and now everyone is happy! |
