My car horn doesn't work please help driving me nuts?

that would indicate that the switch under the rubber cover on the steering wheel is gone or much less likely there is a break in the wires leading to that switch.
you can take two battery cables and run them to the horn directly and see if that makes the horn go . or set your alarm off .
a manual is needed to understand how to get to the switch i am refering to . be carefull this used to be a simple job but now with air bags it is not as simple you might read the manual and try it or take it in to have it fixed.

It may be the relay switch in the steering wheel itself. Take it to someone qualified to work on it though if you have an air bag.

The wiring inside the steering column could have shorted out; or under the hood,.

if this is a new(new) car take it to the dealer and have them fix it. if it is a new(used vehicle) from a factory dealer with warranty the same. else take to a automotive electrician to keep from accidentally discharging the air bag($700+ to replace).

It is under the hood and looks like a snail shell, only larger.
Perhaps you could find it and check for loose wires.

i have this problom i have replace the relay Switch and the cig lighter cus they are on the same fuse and it still don't work

This may be the too simple but try to check your fuses, you would be amazed at how many things can be fixed by checking those little things.

this might sound weird, but do you have a cigarette lighter/adapter or an ash tray in the car? in my old car, i used to throw change in the ashtray thingey and a dime fell into the lighter adapter and shorted my horn and car locks. make sure your adapter/electric source is working properly.

a horn is an important safety feature, i can understand being upset that it's not working...hope you find a solution quickly!

I don't know, but doesn't it seem odd, that a horn not working is driving you nuts. In the world of road rage where people are shot for going too slow, non working horns is a great thing. Mine works but I have never used it. Maybe you should go without it for a while. I know I am preaching sorry. It could be a wire is loose from the connection in the steering wheel itself. If it works at the alarm level, then that is what makes sense. Call your mechanic or local car dealership and ask them.
