My car is freezing and i have to drive to school what should i do?

Take the school bus!

DO NOT PUT HOT WATER ON IT!!

it will break the glass and maybe other things!!

i would try getting a blow dryer and blow dry the door handle and the trunk to open it.

put it in the garage if you can.

The Tank

I try to anticipate freeing weather by having a portable fan heater and a long extension lead handy.
A minute or two blowing 2kW of hot air onto the driver's door will thaw the lock enough to open the door.

In future you pop the heater carefully onto the passenger seat and gently push the door to almost shut - taking care that the door doesn't slam onto the cable and damage it. Go and have some breakfast and in about 10 minutes the windows will be defrosted and yor car will be nice and warm to get into. This is much better and cheaper than leaving it on the drive with the engine running.

What we usually do is we will cover the lock and blow hot air into the lock, and that sometimes works at opening up the doors. With that being said, do you have adequate snow tires or other sorts of tires that have great treads on them? If they don't then please consider taking public transport, or consider taking the day off from school.

Well, you could get a ride from someone that you know like a friend or a neighbor if they can take you. Also, if I were you I'd take a look at the conditions of the road before deciding that you should go to school. I live in the north east. Where I live many students do not have school when there is extreme icy conditions or the roads are covered with ice. So you may want to re-consider going to school if the roads are covered with ice or snow. But if the roads are fine, and you just can't get your car started because you can't get the door open, then take a bus, or get a ride from someone you know.

keep it in a garage overnight carry a blanket in your car cuz when its bitterly cold out it takes a long time for the car to heat up
